CMMI version 1.3 has been released! Some first reflections |
07-01-2011 |
|
The first thing you notice is a clear reduction in size. The PDF contains 482 pages, compared to 573 in version 1.2. That seems to be good news although it is still quite a big model. The reduction in size is however just cosmetic, more about that later. Further on, it is clear that this is a minor upgrade. An upgrade from version 1.2 to 1.3, not to version 2.0. That means that no complete new training is needed for most CMMI users. Just an upgrade training to point out the differences. |
